This tragic young man decided to end his life by ingesting huge quantity of cocaine. Before his death this tracing was recorded.
On the ECG there is Regular Wide Complex Tachycardia. The wide QRS is due to Ventricular Tachycardia and not to hypokalemia.

- PH – 6.89
- Na – 130 mmol/l
- K – 3.2 mmol/l
- HCO3 – 11 mmol/l
- pO2 – 24 torr
- pCO2 – 95 torr
