A large amorphous, well-defined, ovoid, calcified mass in the pelvis – commonly seen in degenerated fibroids.

- Uterine fibroid should be suspected if there are gynaecological symptoms and a palpable pelvic mass.
- Ultrasound of pelvis is the imaging modality of choice.
- Plain radiograph may show characteristic amorphous calcification in a degenerated fibroid.
