A 78-year-old female is admitted to hospital after a fall. Her history raises the possible of syncope. She described getting up from her chair in the study and, while walking to the kitchen, felt dizzy and unsteady, after which she fell to the ground.

She cannot remember actually falling, but she does remember finding herself on the ground with a headache, and she was able to dial 911 for assistance. She continues to remain lightheaded. An ECG is obtained in the emergency department.
