ECG Case 229 Interpretation

This post is an answer to the ECG Case 229

  • ST elevation in II, III, ?aVF (difficult to see given baseline noise)
  • ST depression in leads V2-4 and I, aVL
  • T wave inversion in lead V2
  • Subtle ST elevation in leads V5-6

What happened next?

The patient was discussed with cardiology team and underwent emergent angiogram, which showed:

  • RCA – mild irregularity
  • LAD – 30% stenosis
  • OM2 – 99% occlusion –> stented
  • LV function preserved

Uneventful recovery and discharged after 2 day in-patient stay.
