Wide QRS Tachycardia – SVT or VT ?

Two ECG Strips with Ventricular Tachycardia

On both ECG strips we have Ventricular Tachycardia but with different morphology. A decisive clue to the diagnosis of VT is present in both ECG strips.

In the top tracing, note the negative concordant pattern in the precordial leads, solid evidence that the tachycardia is VT. In the bottom ecg tracing we see negative QRS in Leads I and aVF with extreme axis deviation, that confirms the diagnosis of VT.
